The People’s Choice competition is Saturday, and is judged by the festival goers who purchase a People’s Choice Award Taster Kit.

The $5 kits are sold from 11 a.m. through 1:30 p.m. on Saturday only with limited number of kits available. The tasting begins at 11:30 a.m. while the barbecue lasts.

After sampling, mark your favorite barbecue team’s number on the People’s Choice Award coupon and take your ballot to a voting tent. Winners are announced later in the day.
